THERE IS SOMETHING MAGICAL THAT HAPPENS IN THERAPY

’m continually amazed by the power of being fully present and vulnerable with others—transforming pain into healing, joy, and strength.

I offer individualized psychotherapy for adolescents and adults, tailored to nurture your mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. My approach is holistic, recognizing that our lives are shaped by the systems we live in, from relationships to cultural influences.

Together, we’ll explore your inherent worth and guide you to live authentically, healing and growing with grace and accountability. Ready to start your journey?

TRAUMA INFORMED YOGA

THE BODY KEEPS THE SCORE…

Trauma lives and stores in the body as somatic issues, which can develop into chronic conditions such as chronic pain, high blood pressure, fatigue, decreased immune response, sleeping disturbances, and sexual dysfunction. Stored trauma exacerbates the mental health systems as well with increased reactivity, restlessness, cognitive impairment including memory issues, irritability, and overall dissatisfaction with life. In short, it makes life so much harder.

Trauma disconnects the mind from the body, removing our ability to appropriately respond to stimuli in our lives....further enhancing the impact of trauma on the body.

With a trauma informed yoga practice, you are guided to connect with your body and learn how safely feel and release trapped emotions, memories, and traumas.

I guide you through a grounded private yoga sequence to learn how to reconnect with your body, listening for cues of distress and pain, and reteaching the body to effectively feel emotions while releasing stored trauma.

By holding the body in awareness, we reclaim our body and spirit.

WE NEVER OUTGROW NEEDING HELP

Throughout my 13 years of practice, I have found that I have an immense passion for helping other therapists grow. I personally have experienced terrible, mediocre, and phenomenal supervision/consultation throughout the years and have learned from each experience.

I want to pass that knowledge to you.

My professional experiences include health psychology, case management, psychological assessment, risk assessment, group management, research development, project management, case conceptualization/formulation, treatment plans, agency work, and professional development.

The more esoteric experiences of mine include answering questions such as “how do I handle hearing all this trauma and not take it home?” or “this client is bringing up this in me, what do I do with that?” I can help you tap into your therapist intuition and find that voice.

I want to provide a safe container to help you become the therapist you dreamed to be.
